Refund Policy
This explains how to cancel a subscription and how to get a refund. It restates Chapter 3 of the Terms of Service (Articles 9 to 12) in the order you would act on it; if the two differ, the Terms prevail.
1.Basics #
- plantcrew Paid Plans are App Marketplace (App Store or Google Play) subscription products. The marketplace collects the payment, so the refund itself goes through its process.
- On receiving a refund request, the Company asks the marketplace for the refund without undue delay or tells you how to ask it directly, helps you get the refund, for example by providing the records needed, and keeps you informed. For App Store payments, Apple decides whether to refund (Terms of Service, Article 12.3).
- We do not restrict use of the Service only because you asked for a refund.
- If the law of your country sets a more favourable rule, that law prevails.
- Members do not pay, so they are not eligible for refunds. Payment for a crew is made by its Owner.
2.Cancelling is not the same as a refund #
- Cancelling stops payment from the next renewal, and you can keep using the Service until the period you already paid for ends. A refund returns money you already paid.
- You cancel in the subscription settings of the App Marketplace you paid through; "More > Manage subscription" in the app goes straight there. To stop automatic renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal date.
- Deleting your account in the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancel first, then delete.
- The free trial lasts 14 days, and if you cancel during it you are not charged. We send an in-app notification 3 days before it ends. You can take the trial once, on your first subscription, and the App Marketplace decides eligibility per account.
3.Our refund rule and statutory rights by where you live #
| Who | Period | If you already used the Service | Processing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Every user (the Company's refund rule) | Ask within 14 days of the first paid charge of a subscription (if there was a free trial, the first charge after it ends) | Full refund | The Company asks the marketplace without undue delay or tells you how to ask it directly |
| Consumers in the EEA and UK (statutory withdrawal) | Withdraw within 14 days of concluding the contract, without giving a reason | Full refund (nothing charged for use) | Without undue delay |
| Consumers in Korea (statutory withdrawal) | Withdraw within 7 days of receiving the written contract details or of the day the Service began (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) | Full refund (the free trial is not used to restrict withdrawal) | Refund process starts within 3 business days; for marketplace payments, the Company asks the marketplace within the same period |
These rules apply together, and whichever is most favourable to you applies. If the law of your country is more favourable, that law prevails.
4.How to ask for a refund #
- If you paid through the App Store: ask on Apple's "Report a Problem" page (reportaproblem.apple.com), or tell us using the contact below.
- If you paid through Google Play: request a refund from your Google Play order history, or tell us using the contact below.
- When you contact the Company, send your account email, the marketplace you paid through and the date of payment to admin@hannunplant.com or through "Send feedback" in the app.
5.Use after a refund #
If a refund leads the marketplace to cancel the subscription, access under that subscription may end right away. Plants and records you already added are not deleted, and adding new records needs a subscription again.
